Alexander “Alex” Rojas is the founder of One-Eighteen Law. Alex, a native of Lima, Peru is a determined, competitive, and hardworking lawyer. He is a highly experienced litigator, counselor and advocate who passionately represents and protects the legal interests of his clients in the areas of civil litigation and sports law.

Alex began his legal career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. During this time, he represented over 1600 clients in a variety of cases involving simple misdemeanors, juvenile offenses, and felonies punishable by life. It was at the Public Defender’s Office where Alex sharpened his litigation skills and gained trial experience in the courtroom. The litigation skills he acquired at the Public Defender’s Office helped him become a skillful and detail-oriented litigator. These traits have helped him in becoming an experienced and passionate advocate in his civil litigation practice.

Alex obtained a Master’s in international Sports Law from Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economia (ISDE) in Madrid, Spain, where he graduated as the valedictorian in his class. He is one of the few and leading lawyers in the country that also specializes in legal and transactional matters in football/soccer. Alex has successfully represented many amateur and professional athletes, coaches, agents, and clubs on a wide variety of legal matters that focus on the negotiation of contracts, player eligibility, disciplinary hearings, endorsements, sponsorships, media rights, intellectual property rights, litigation, etc., to name a few.

Alex’ commitment to providing superior legal representation and working side by side with his clients is strong. When he is not fighting for his clients, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, and attending sporting events.
